The Daniels have found their next universe to visit. Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, know collectively as The Daniels, who recently won several Oscars for their hit film Everything Everywhere All At Once, have directed at least one episode of the upcoming Star Wars: Skeleton Crew series. It is unknown if they directed more than one episode. One Take News first reported the news.

Jon Watts created Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. Watts is best known for directing the MCU Spider-Man trilogy. Skeleton Crew is described as a “galactic version of classic Ambline coming-of-age adventure films of the ’80s.” More specifically, it follows a group of kids trying to return home after getting lost in the galaxy. Jude Law is starring in the series. Also, the show is set in the same time frame as The Mandalorian. At Star Wars Celebration, in a few weeks, more details will be revealed.

The Daniels are best known for writing and directing Everything Everywhere All At Once. They also directed Swiss Army Man. Skeleton Crew would be their first project since Everything Everywhere All At Once released last year.
