A few months ago, The Cinema Spot exclusively revealed that Amazon Prime’s hit series The Boys was renewed for a third season, with our friends at Knight Edge Media following it up that the series was looking to cast an actor to portray Soldier Boy for season three. Now, it looks like the motley crew of anti-supe fighters will face off against Supernatural star Jensen Ackles as the supersoldier spoof of Captain America.
Ackles will have his final outting with the Supernatural cast this fall as the series debuts it’s final season. In his latest Instagram post, the star announces that he will be appearing as Solider Boy. Check it out below!

The second season is set to premiere on Prime Video on September 4th, with production on season three expected to begin in early 2021.
