The untitled series is a science fiction soap drama series set on a space colony. The Hallmark Channel has described the series as their first entry into “Peak TV.”
“Peak TV” are high budget well-written drama series, which The Hallmark Channel generally isn’t a distributor of. They are known for their soap drama series and made-for-TV movies, which makes this news even more surprising. This sci-fi series is set to be The Hallmark Channel’s first big high-budget drama series.
The Hallmark Channel is an American pay television cable channel owned by Crown Media Holdings, Inc. The channel’s programming is primarily targeted at families, and features a mix of television movies and miniseries, original and acquired television series, and lifestyle programs.
