From 2011 to 2017, Teen Wolf ruled MTV. An average high school student getting bit by a werewolf isn’t exactly relatable to most teens, but we all needed some escape in high school. The show is a generation-defining show, and it’s still talked about five years after the finale. The adventure continues with a new movie set to release on Paramount+ later this year.

Synopsis from MTV:

“A full moon rises in Beacon Hills, and with it, a terrifying evil has emerged. The wolves are howling once again, calling for the return of Banshees, Werecoyotes, Hellhounds, Kitsunes, and every other shapeshifter in the night. But only a werewolf like Scott McCall, no longer a teenager yet still an Alpha, can gather both new allies and reunite trusted friends to fight back against what could be the most powerful and deadliest enemy they’ve ever faced.”

As a Teen Wolf super fan, I was pretty opinionated with the finale. There was no conclusion, but that was the intention all along. However, the finale did give viewers a chance to choose the ending for the characters.

The casting update generated mixed reviews. Tyler Posey will be reprising his role as Scott McCall, but Dylan O’Brien will not be returning as Stiles Stilinski. Crystal Reed will be reprising her role as Allison Argent, but Arden Cho will not be returning as Kira Yukimura. O’Brien said he was happy where he left his character. Other original cast set to return includes Holland Roden, Shelley Hennig, Orny Adams, Linden Ashby, JR Bourne, Colton Haynes, Melissa Ponzio, Dylan Sprayberry, and others. This film will also introduce a new set of characters, including Vince Matis as Derek’s 15-year-old son Eli Hale.

We’ve been given plenty of teaser material on the Teen Wolf Instagram, Twitter and TikTok pages. The show’s creator, Jeff Davis, gave fans a sneak peek of the show’s main character back on set. The character in question is Roscoe, Stiles’ beloved jeep.

Regardless of the changes, we can expect to see Scott McCall and his friends embark on another exhilarating adventure. With filming still underway in Atlanta, more surprise reveals are sure to come.
