FX’s Atlanta Seasons 3 and 4 couldn’t come any sooner. Because of the Coronavirus pandemic, productions on films and television series delayed. The hit comedy-drama show is no exception, with filming delayed this past September.

Although, an exclusive report by Deadline suggests there is hope. The cast of Atlanta will head to Europe on March 23rd and expected to start filming the two seasons on April 5th. Part of the show is reportedly filming there, with another part primarily shooting in Atlanta, Georgia. The intention is to film back-to-back, with releases on television just several months apart.

The show’s third season will consist of 10 new episodes, with the fourth season will premiere later with eight episodes. They will act as “Parts 1 and 2” of a new chapter in the series’ life. The Season 2 finale saw Earnest ”Earn” Marks (Donald Glover) and his rapper cousin Alfred ”Al” Miles aka Paper Boi (Brian Tyree Henry) boarding a plane to go on tour with another rapper. This season is subtitled “Robbin’ Season,” which aired in Spring 2018. Also starring in the series are Zazie Beetz and Lakeith Stanfield.

Atlanta is known for its thought-provoking themes in award-winning and -nominated episodes.
