Big Hero 6 is headed to the MCU!

According to The DisInsider, a well-trusted Mouse House-centric outlet, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is set to expand even more. The new report states that certain, unknown characters from Disney’s Big Hero 6 will be making their live-action debuts in the MCU. Though no characters are yet known, the report states that fans should at least expect Hiro and Baymax to appear.

The DisInsider does say that they have not received any information about the voice actors reprising their roles for the live-action setting, but the voice actor of Hiro, Ryan Potter, is no stranger to the comic book realm, starring as Gar Logan/Beast Boy in HBO Max’s Titans. If Marvel is looking to create a full live-action franchise with the characters, Potter should definitely be considered for their go-to actor. His role in Titans, while unfortunately minimized in the series, does offer a perfect display of the actor’s skill and prowess.

The report also states that they have heard numerous projects could act as the characters’ introductions to the MCU, but does not offer a definitive answer on which just yet. Some of the titles include: Secret InvasionAgents of Atlas, and Sam Raimi’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, a film that is already expected to introduce numerous new characters. It is also important to note that, though reported from The GWW, Marvel Studios has yet to formally announce an Agents of Atlas series at the time of this writing.

Are you excited for Baymax to come to the MCU? Let us know your thoughts on it and where they could pop up in the comments below! And be sure to follow The Cinema Spot on Twitter (@TheCinemaSpot) and Instagram (@thecinemaspot_) to stay up to date on the latest Marvel and Disney news!
