After years of standing in front of the camera in hit films like The Social Network and Zombieland, Jesse Eisenberg will take up a role the audience won’t be seeing on screen. The Now You See Me star has written and is set to direct an adaption of an upcoming six-part Amazon Audible Original titled, “When You Finish Saving The World.” The film will bear the same name, and is being considered a comedy-drama.
The Amazon Audible Original follows a family of three throughout their lives and loves. According to the original report by Deadline, the film will loosely adapt the source material, but will alter the single father of two dynamic and instead focus on a mother-son relationship.
Eisenberg’s Zombieland 2: Double Tap co-star Emma Stone is attached to produce the flick, with her fiance and Saturday Night Live director Dave McCary producing as well.
