The Falcon and The Winter Soldier series is gaining very high expectations from the Marvel Studios fandom. As we close in on it’s release date, multiple rumors are starting to find light. This time, it involves a crucial character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe that might play a role with Zemo as main antagonists.

According to MCU Exchange, Charles Murphy has stated that Armin Zola is set to appear in the Marvel Studios series. At the same time, there’s a possibility that it could also be his daughter Jet Zola who will be present instead of Armin himself.

Either appearances are plausible; Armin Zola has previously devoted himself to the Hydra movement by Red Skull. In Captain America: The First Avenger, Zola saved Bucky from the snowy mountains where he and Steve Rodgers were executing a mission. He was responsible for the creation of the Winter Soldier program, so that gives him an interesting tie in to Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan).

What was last know of Zola is of the supercomputer he built and transferred his conscience back in 2014 on Captain America: The Winter Soldier. After he revealed to Steve and Natasha that S.H.I.E.L.D. was secretly HYDRA, he sent a missile straight to the hanger where the two Avengers were, self-destructing himself.

Murphy was also the person who leaked news of Doctor Doom and his potential role as the villain on the upcoming Black Panther II film.

The Disney+ series is set to hit the streaming service on 2020.
