As per a recent photo shared to Instagram by ‘Stranger Things’ cinematographer, Tim Ives, filming of the last 2 episodes of season 2 of the Netflix series is officially underway.
First look at the main cast for season 2, including a new-look Eleven.
With all episodes set to hit Netflix on the 31st of October this year, season 2 will pick up a year after the very ambiguous ending of season 1, which showed the long lost, and now found, Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) suffering from rather grotesque post-rescue symptoms, and had the fate of our favorite psychokinetic heroine (Millie Bobby Brown) up in the air. Though the latter has been confirmed to make a return, the exact nature of The Upside Down dimension and it’s link to our world is something still very much to be discovered, and will most definitely be something that the coming season will delve deeper into.
The 8-episode long first season of ‘Stranger Things‘ was met by resounding critical acclaim, by fans and critics alike, and apart from very compelling story-telling, featured a cast that has quickly found a special place in both modern pop-culture and in the hearts of the geek community.
