The gods of Olympus come for Shazam in Shazam! Fury of the Gods. Zachary Levi reteams with director David F. Sandberg and co-stars Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer, Grace Fulton, Megan Good, Ross Butler, DJ Cotrona, and Adam Brody. Franchise newcomer Rachel Zegler will also star alongside Levi and co. with Helen Mirran, Lucy Liu, and Djimon Hounsou. The screenplay comes from Henry Gayden.
Below are the little details from the Shazam! Fury of the Gods panel. It isn’t much but it was great to get an update from the cast and to get more details and looks at the film.
The panel begins with an introduction by Asher Angel and Zachary Levi. The clip shown is a behind the scenes mixed interview with the cast and various clips of the film intercut. Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu look amazing as Fury of the Gods’ villains Hespera and Kalypso, respectively, and the rest of the cast looks fantastic! The film has finished filming and is in the middle of post production and is due to hit theaters in 2023.
