Within two days, there have been three major casting announcements for Rian Johnson’s Knives Out sequel. Back in March, it was announced that Netflix acquired the rights to two more films. Until now, all we knew is that Daniel Craig was returning as Benoit Blanc. It has been confirmed that Dave Bautista, Edward Norton, and Janelle Monáe will join the cast. At this time, there are no words on who their characters are. Johnson is back to write the script, direct, and produce.

The plot of this sequel is unknown, but production on Knives Out: 2 will start this summer in Greece. This does not rule out the possibility of a musical where Daniel Craig solves mysteries via the music of ABBA. Only joking about that, that’s just wishful thinking.
