DC Fandome: ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ Panel Recap

While there wasn’t much news in regards to the new season we got a retrospective on the past and some teases for what is to come for season 6.

Where are These Characters in Quarantine?

In a fun little segment after the blooper reel the actors were asked what their characters would be up to during this time of quarantine.

• Constantine:Having a whisky
• Nate:falling in love then having his heart broken
• Zari:conquered tik tok
• Behrad:Becoming the number one League of Legends Player
• Astra:Chilling on money
• Gideon:Getting the Legends to do something

What’s Next For Season 6:

In the panel they discussed a lot of small details about what is to come for season 6. In regards to Zari 2.0, Tala is excited to see her develop as a character more especially in regards to with Behrad. They confirmed we will see in episode 2 what it was like for Behrad growing up in the shadow of his more successful sister. With Sara gone from the Waverider we will see the “kids(legends) go crazy” in her absence. Surprisignly we will even see how Zari 1.0 is affected by this as she is trapped in the air totem. As we might expect Ava to step up as the leader she actually will be taking this the hardest causing a power vacuum on the team. Even though Sara is gone though we will still see Sara’s adventure away from the team.

We will have a new member of the team known as Esperanza “Spooner” Cruz played by new series regular Lisseth Chavez. Esperanza will be portray a “tough and self-sufficient” woman who was (supposedly) captured by aliens that will help the Legends find Sara. However, she won’t necessarily be friends with the Legends at least at first as she throws the team off a bit.

Some other things of note that will happen:

• More alien genres in the season that will look and feel different then ‘Supergirl’.
• It will get harder for Nate to be optimistic
• Astra and John will have potentially have tension while living at the mansion together

Behind the Scenes Facts

• Caity Lotz loved directing her episode in season 5.
• Ava probably has a 5 Year Plan for Avalance and Sara is just taking it day by day .
• Olivia and Shayan was surprised at how fun and easy going everyone was.
• Shayan tried getting to know everyone behind the scenes. He got along with Nick very quickly.
• A lot of the cast’s favorite episode this season was “The One Where We’re Trapped on TV”.
• Neal McDonough once had to leave set early to coach his kid’s soccer game.
• Reconfirmed ‘Legends’ was supposed to be an anthology series.
• Mr Parker is named after Phil’s assistant.
• A musical episode is possible as they are always up for anything in the series.
• They want to somehow write Caity as Sara break-dancing into an episode.

Legends of Tomorrow will be back in 2021.
