Although the world is on lockdown, the Marvel Cinematic Universe seemingly continues to grow. A new report from MCU Cosmic suggests that Marvel Studios, headed by Kevin Feige, is currently developing an adaption of Ultimatum, following the group of villains of the same name.
Rumors swirling around the internet suggest that ULTIMATUM are somehow involved in the upcoming Falcon And The Winter Soldier Disney+ project. This also wouldn’t be the first time a group of villains were introduced in one MCU project and make a full debut later on. 2013’s Iron Man 3 mentioned the group A.I.M., who are set to make their full MCU debut later this year in Black Widow.
The Ultimatum storyline from the comics heavily featured the X-Men and the Fantastic Four, with Doctor Doom acting as the maestro for the whole event. With the source material so focused on characters yet to be introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we should expect some major adjustments in the story. Details of the project’s plot, setting, and involved characters are practically nonexistent.
