All aboard the Production Train! Tom Holland’s third solo Spider-Man film will begin preparations to start shooting this summer.

According to ComicBook.com the Far From Home follow up is expected to record in varios locations around the US such as Atlanta, New York and Los Angeles, as well as in Iceland. Jon Watts is set to return to the director’s seat once again, with Holland as the lovable Web Head and both Jacob Batalon and Zendaya reprising their roles as Ned and MJ.
After the tough period of negotiations between Sony and Disney, fans feared for the future of Holland’s Spider-Man and his involvement in the MCU. Thankfully, both companies came to a deal last year that will allow Holland’s Spider-Man in the MCU for this film and a future role in the next Avengers movie.
The news follows the release of Sony Picture’s stand alone Morbius trailer. In it, Jared Leto’s Michael Morbius is seen passing through an alley that shows a graffiti of Spider-Man with the words “Murder” written all over. The artwork is actually a screenshot from the Spider-Man PS4, leaving fans confused and wondering if the anti-hero movie takes places after the events of Spider-Man: Far From Home.
What’s more confusing is that the trailer ends with a shot of Michael Keaton’s Vulture greeting Morbius. Vulture, being a character from Spider-Man: Homecoming, hints that they will use those established characters from the MCU, but as to how much of an impact Sony’s standalone films will have in the Marvel Studios movies is to be seen.

Spider-Man 3 will hit theaters July 21, 2021.
