In a little more than a week, Lucasfilm will be hosting an augmented reality event for its fans at nearly 20,000 retail locations worldwide. The date coincides with the release of The Last Jedi toys and merchandise across the globe. Another thing to be released will be a new character. This mysterious character can be found through participation in the Force Friday event on September 1.
Downloading the latest version of the Star Wars app, you can go out to hunt down a Find the Force logo. If you scan the logo, a character will pop up. Continue to other stores to find more characters. In total, there will be fifteen viewable characters, but one of those will be a new character introduced in December’s The Last Jedi.
