Billy Zane has been cast as a real life person, PT Barnum, in Legends of Tomorrow Season 3. Barnum lived from 1810-1891 and was an American politician and businessman who founded the Barnum and Bailey Circus. Barnum was the mayor of Bridgeport, Connecticut for two years.
One of the things that Legends of Tomorrow loves to do is bring historical people onto the show. Barnum seems to be next up.
Quick SPOILERS for Season 1 and 2:
The show has shown us versions of H.G Wells, Albert Einstein, Ulysses S. Grant, Al Capone, George Lucas, General George Washington, and J. R. R. Tolkien.
