After months of production shrouded in secrecy, Lizzie Hill of Murphy’s Multiverse has confirmed that principal production has wrapped on the highly-anticipated Disney+ series WandaVision. Cryptic messages were released throughout the course of production by star Elizabeth Olsen, who portrays Scarlet Witch. The final cryptic message seemingly acknowledged the end of production as the series moved forward with post production.
It is also believed by the crew at Murphy’s Multiverse that there is a strong possibility that the series also wrapped on the show’s visual effects. There is quite a possibility the show will need reshoots, though none are yet confirmed to take place. All that seems to be left for the show is editing.
No release date has been set yet for WandaVision, though it was believed that the series would release in the fall of 2020. With direct ties to Sam Raimi’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which was recently pushed back to a March 25, 2022 release, the series may be postponed until a short while before the Doctor Strange sequel’s release.
