Hollywood Reporter has announced that Brenton Thwaites (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales) will play the fan favorite Dick Grayson (Nightwing) in the live action TV show Titans.
Since he was in the Pirates of the Carribean movie Thwaites is not new to action. Nightwing is one of the more agile heroes so I think this will help him in creating the character that everyone loves along with his luchious hair.
The show will be about Dick Grayson who becomes a leader of a group of superheroes from around the universe. Other actors cast include Raven (Teagan Croft) and Starfire (Anna Diop).
People have been waiting for the series since 2014 when it was shelved by TNT, but thankfully it is now confirmed to be developed on DC’s digital platform that will release in 2018.
The show will be produced by Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti, and Sarah Schechter (Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow). No release date has been confirmed as of now.
